I'm assuming you have a RM B5. If so, just add 20-25g of weight somewhere.
You'd be surprised...

Yes, guys are getting the B5m down to under 1500 if they really choose to. I know a couple locally @ OCRC that have done so. Some lipos are lighter than others. Same for motors. Same for tires even! It can be done.

Mine is a happy 1535g with shorty. Getting better each time out to the track as well.

Was thinking if going to 3x1.4 pistons all around. But not sure that would help
As Bkautz said. You need to add weight so add it somewhere in the front as far forward as possible

Scale is dead on man. Not to sure what else to say. Its not hard to drop 100 grams. My shorty pack is 155 grams. Were most are 210-212 grams. Thats were most of the weight drop has come from along with alot of other parts and chassis mods.

You can definitely get this car down under 1500g. Mine with the B4.2 pucks, v2 slipper, ti-turnbuckles, and all else stock running a Nano-tech shorty (195g) rtr was at 1548g. using a battery that weighs 150g, aluminum top shaft, ti-screws, lighter motor (like a schuurspeed etc) its easy to see this car coming in at sub 1500g.

my car is stock with the SMC sqaure pack and is 1665. And my wires are all about an inch too long. If I really wanted to, I could toss the short pack and low profile servo in, trim my wiring, and I'm sure I would be mid to low 1500's I mean shorty vs square is what.... 80grams alone??

add in Pucks, alum top shaft, and other various things, I could see it. Not saying I would do it, but I could see it.

Just as a point of reference, my rear motor car, bone stock with a shorty was 1490. It had no transponder in it when I weighed it. If I am to run that car outside, I'll likely add a ton of weight and switch to a square.

sounds kind of crazy, but since you are essentially doing your own thing with an ultra lite car, how about slapping a rear sway bar on? Obviously you're into trying stuff, so add that to the list of stuff to try
