Yes they are. I run my slipper fairly tight so I can't say if they are any better than the standard ones. Truth be told the only reason I bought them was because they were all my lhs had in stock. Sorry

Approximately 30 cycles maybe because I usually run my Trak Power saddles for qualifiers) and practice and use these for mains but 10-12 cycles in and these would lose their punch a little over a minute into a run. Did several charge and discharge cycles and it remedied the issue for a few charge cycles but then began dumping again. I decided to run them for practice and setup, but today I go to work on my 410 and saw this.

You best believe I'm calling up reedy first thing in the morning!!!
Those are the aerodynamic saddle packs they also run cooler I heard. I bought some 7000 mah reedy batteries and spent $125 ea. They puffed in 5 runs. Way overpriced for how long you get out of them.

Looks awesome but couldn't you just turn it around or wouldn't it fit cause the chassis starts to taper in?

The problem with this is you don't know when they took the picture. They probably tried so many different setups over the week. I'm sure if you look hard enough, you'll find more pics with other differences.

And the track conditions changes during the race so one setup which works on the first qual could not work on the other quals or main finals !

The setup sheet is just here to tell which direction we should go in for this track, but you better not copy that exactly and try to learn by yourself and understand the purpose of each setting ! It's kinda hard and need so much time but it's useful

actually, in the picture of the rear stud mount, the aluminum piece looks to me to have a lower mount point by 1 mm over std plastic. Thus I translate the picture to show him having 2mm at that point. But that's only my observation...

Others are right. These pictures could have been taken during 1st round or practice to show off the new money makers.

Thanks for the advice below on the slipper actually causing a pushy car. I will double check mine as I have thrown 5 different oil and spring packages at the
car without a change for the better.
For the push, try less trail (first 3mm, then 2mm) and 1mm washer on the front inner ball stud t. If it gets twitchy add ackerman by going to 1mm on the rack. Also, flip the rear hub insert to the down position and try 1mm on the inner ball stud or no washer. Battery up front. Between all of this and black front springs my B5 most definitely is not pushy if I don't want it to be.

I will never buy another Reedy battery again, I have two shorties that puffed within 3 race weekends. For $100+ per pack that it outrageous. Friend had the same experience with the Reedy packs as well, both puffed in a month.

Yup, tell me about it. Thus far, the only batteries I've found to be worth the coin are Venom and Track Power. Both those brands maintain their punch and to this point have not swelled. Have a few friends with Turnigy Nano LiPo's and they are as advertised. Solid, well finished packs that perform well and you can buy 2-3 packs for the price of some other brands.
