so for all of you struggling with the turnbuckles. I was talking to a kid at the track this weekend. Maybe 14 years old. I asked him if he drilled them, used chap stick or grease. He looked confused and said he just screwed them on. That they went on easy.....lol. I imagine most you just hulking on these things and this 110 lbs kid soaking wet put them on with no issue.....

Justin, they are stiffer and bring a small amount of forward traction & more predictable handling on high traction.

b5m is proving to be great, it jumps & lands better then any other
Still steers on power compared to the competition ..
Already going about 3 sec faster them rear b5.
Have not built mine yet, getting all the extra parts first before building.
Maybe next week will post the set up after a little more refinement ...

Does the AE X ring kit help prevent leaks better than the stock o rings? 2 of my shocks are leaky, built them properly with green slime too...

I just built my B5m with the x-rings. Haven't got to run it since my local track Mike's Rc world closed for the month of March. They fit much tighter tho. I can't imagine it wouldn't atleast improve that issue. Might still seep out small amounts overtime. Still a huge improvement and worth the money and time in my opinion.

Thats what I thought when I first saw it, but as usual, succeeded in making it more complicated in my head with too much thought. Thanks Matt. I have definately heard the debate as to which one is appropriate for 17.5 racing. One side says the three pad is too much and the other says its more tunable and can be set perfectly. So far I lean to the three pad. It seems to be able to be set nicely with some patience. Many guys used to just slam the two pad completely tight for stock racing anyway when that was the only option.
