I've bought plenty of stuff from him and never had a problem. If it's pre puffed, why not call or email Danny, he takes care of his customers and cares about his company's rep... Pro-pufftek on the other hand will gladly sell you another crappy battery for 1/2 price so you pay 150% for a meh battery. I don't race stock though, we only have 3 pros out here in hillbilly land.

LOL...

To each there own. Everybody's experience differs.

I have a ProTek saddle pack that is a little "puffy", that still works fine. It was much more expensive than my 25C Gens Ace saddle that is not puffed at all.

I don't currently have any SMC LiPo's, but I have their "square" pack on back order (much more price friendly than the Reedy). So I guess I will soon see first hand what to make of the SMC batteries.

I did email him, and i was told this was 'normal'. I bought 2 shorty packs last June, they arrived on time and were both puffed, one more than the other. I was told that it is normal for them to puff a bit because they stuff so much battery in there and the case walls are thin. Never had an issue with Pro-Tek or Aero-Model batteries puffing.

If it's a matter of squeezing thicker cells into a case that's not quite large enough for them then that's one thing but I'd still want to know when they intended to re-tool the case so that it fit.

If the pack is arriving flat-sided and then it changed, that would be cause for worry. The original Horizon/Losi short packs used to puff a little bit and I've never heard of one causing a fire but I would still not choose a battery from a label that said "puffing is normal". It's not normal and it's not safe.

Funny, I ran B4's for a few years and never bent/broke a blue t-buckle. I break 1 or 2 Lunsford's a year and I'm a fairly infrequent racer these days.

Is it OK to run kyosho rb6 rims right? Just have to ream the holes out a bit? Or did it throw it off? There the only white wheels I have on hand. Really don't want to use these yellow associated wheels. Thanks

"no clue", fact is you don't own this car, simple as that.

Another FACT is that you're not a "teammate" to anyone, unless you include 'me, myself, and I'.

So I'll "stop humping your leg", when you stop LYING to the members of this forum!

"customers" what's your preferred form of payment....."grass"
