I wonder what they changed in the shock bodies? Definitely a different part number than the .2 bodies, but same stroke. Now they say "V2". Maybe they made the bore a little smaller to fit the molded pistons a bit better.

I don't know specifically what they changed on the bodies, but I asked Kody directly if the new seals were "backwards compatible", he told me no, they were remachined to improve sealing.

10 rear roll centers on the rear hub alone, fantastic
One piece steering link from servo to rack, very nice
Keeping chassis perfectly flat -- saves cost and makes it easy to make alternates, genius
Wing angle shims -- good, would still rather mount with screws
I have a servo stop, it's called dual rate but seriously, I never want less steering throw anyways
The extra boss on the rear axle, good thinkin slim
This car looks great -- can't wait

Still with the screws as shock standoffs? Ugh.

I just set up another buggy with a 16 year old JR-4735. Just as fast and strong as the more current JR-4800, because they are exactly the same servo.
I also have some Airtronics 258's that are strong as ever. Easily 15 years old. I have some newer digital servos too (futaba 9451 and 9551), all the same stuff.
You're comparing a cheap, plastic gear servo with a ti-gear high end servo, not a old servo and a new servo. I said old, not cheap.
