the viper esc's are fine. Matt trimming is selling a new vtx10 on here. his stuff is always top notch, take a look and save a few bucks. I am also selling my used vtx10. Those esc's are fine. if your already experienced with them, and like them. stick with them. just get a different motor. I prefer reedy. but you will get a 100 different options from people....but hardly anyone will say viper motors

Thanks that makes me feel better knowing I have reputable (some say) customer support in the US. Other than viper should I be looking into Tekin, Orion or LRP?

Question. Brent posted his setup. he is doing 3mm on the inside rear camber link with it flipped to the low position... That is the same is it mounted high and 1mm washer right? so why are him, rivkin and others doing it that way?
So if I want more on power traction exiting corners I lower the ball stud at the shock tower......did I read that right in the back of the manual.

Maybe those guys are running on very high bit tracks.

do you really have that much grip that you have to slam the weight forward for more steering?

Hobbywing 120A for under $100 shipped. Far superior than anything else in that or even higher price range. I have been a Tekin, LRP, Castle, Viper, Novak dealer for years and I still pay retail for my Hobbywing.

the 120 is good. but I found it hard to fit in the b5... the justock just is smaller and fits better. the viper he wants is fine and also small.

[QUOTE=skrichter

only difference is the inline can change directions easier .

setup is no different from using the battery normal.

The traction is equal to running the pack in rear standard kit fashion.

The ESC mounted under the motor guard helps make more weight on the rear.
Then you get to ditch all that motor wire for less weight forward & above the battery.

I drive other B5 normal all the time and it always my ride drives better, more consistent,no stall in slower sharp corners ECT.

lookin for some help here fellaz. so today i put on the turnbuckles. ive read on this thread that the ft turnbuckles bind....mine move fairly free. there is however some stiffness in the steering. it moved butter before. im thinking its the red o-ring rubbing on the cups...anybody have this? also the front arm travel up/down is a tad on the stiff side. need to just be broken in? like i said i can rotate the turnbuckles fairly easy. thanks in advance.

+1 on Hobbywing, any of them -- just depends if you want to spend the extra money to be ready to go to mod in the future.

I fit the 120a v2.1 in my B5R but I have a smaller KO receiver. If you have a large receiver and don't want to use the tray mount then go with the Justock or the Xtreme stock if you want a little more headroom for a mild mod or 13.5 motor.
