I've got mine, just waiting on a track day. It's important to note that you also need the narrower 5mm rear hex as well.

This should prove to be a good tuning option when on high grip and carpet and will some stability to the car.

When you say stability, does that translate to increased resistance to traction rolling?

I've only purchased the AE diff rings. Guess I didn't know there were others that fit. Good to know wet sanding the rings works as well. Yet again that is something I have thought of before, but just never tried it.

Glad to see others are sanding the diff rings. Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing something wrong when people at the track look at me weird for wasting the time to sand the rings. Like Razathorn said, sometimes the new rings have something on them, or imperfections on the surface.

+1 on sanding rings I like a nice fine crosshatch on mine. Question for the guys who have gone with Velcro to hold the body on are you shaving the front body mount off the top plate or do u still use it?

I shaved it off so I don't have to cut a hold in my body up front.

I just put the 1258tg on my FT B4.1. And the sv1274mg on the b5m.

After the mod race tonight, we did musical cars like people often do. I drove a friends B5M and it was on fire. I couldn't believe how that car felt. I mean hard acceleration, quick quick quick in all corners, and jumped like I always imagine a pro car would. None of us are even close to pro by the way. It was flat out awesome, didn't want to give the radio back. LOL. However I was lucky enough to still get the W. The others made more mistakes than I did is all.

Unless he is hiding his setup it is setup the same as us other four B5M users. Same radio, different ESC (Orion), and 7.5 motor instead of 8.5, same tires, pretty identical electronics layout. His car is the newest of us all at three weeks old but Wow what a car. I'm unsure how he builds his shocks and diff but it was an amazing feeling car. So smooth, tons of grip, and mucho side bite.

I just bought a conversion kit for my B5R and i'm gonna hope it turns out nearly as awesome. LoL.

How do you arrive at 3 wing angle? My brain isn't picking up on how to set the wing shim for 3. LOL.

I believe the wing mount is 6, then the shim forward makes 9, and the shim backwards makes 3. Run the shim on top in any orientation for 6.
