I would MUCH rather pay for 3 different individual gearboxes (RM3g, MM4g, MM3g) than run the durango setup.

so all i need for the three gear is the case, motor plate, and gear cover? everything else swaps from the four gear correct?

You'll need the top shaft too.

the top shaft is the same as the b5m shaft. just v2. its compatible with both car. i ordered the aluminum top shaft a month ago and put it in my b5m. it has the reduced collar for lower weight. i see the 3 gears uses different sized bearings for the top shaft the i.d. for the shaft is the same
four gear bearing - 6 x 12 x 4
three gear bearing - 5 x 10 x 4
also diff shims are needed.

just need a list of parts needed to swap four gear parts into the three gear. and what extra i need. so i can place my order.

What is wrong with the Durango setup i see nothing wrong with it . The V2 is not the same as the V1 model of the buggy its easier to get to the transmission. Why would you want to pay extra just to make it a 3 gear mid motor doesn't make sense to me.

I know some of you guys with the Associated and Losis love to put that car down i say the B5 feel and drive like a tank.

Whatever im out.

The top shafts aren't the same. New one has a smaller diameter where the bearings ride and uses the same bearings as the idler gears.

It was sarcasm Krio. Racer1812 was pointing out somebody's issue.

3d printing is ugly, but sure makes things interesting for prototyping.
