I talked to Kody Numendahl this weekend at the Rumble. He said that AE should receive the B5M in 2 weeks, it takes a week to QC and check in the cars. So 3 weeks they will get shipped to distributors, international first, east coast then west coast.

So look for them to ship week of March 3rd

I really want to try a mm, but have yet to see a mm car (losi, schumacher, team c, kyosho) work on my track (low to medium traction indoor red clay, currently smooth, but not typically). I really don't want to get into a mm buggy with out an easy out if I can't get it to work.
If a MM isn't working at your track I wouldn't even sweat the conversion IF there ever is one. Get the RM and be happy.

That seems odd, since China is west of the west coast where AE is located. Even more odd since that's not how the RM rolled out. The timeline seems reasonable though. Maybe I'll see Kody this week, hopefully he'll have the test mule so I can check the wires on my ESC that I want to use.

RTR may only be rear motor, with mm conversion already available.

Recap: rm, mm, conv, rtr, ft(mm only)

Just my guess.
Centro 5, RM conversion to MM

That's what he told me when I asked when we could expect the mm. I may have gotten the corporate answer from him, but he was pretty open about everything I asked him.

Doesn't seem odd to me. Ship the ones that take the longest first so everyone has the car about the same time.

If you're on the fence about mid and your running on low to medium grip I would advise you to go with the RM. I've had plenty of experience with rm's and mm's and low grip is most-like gonna be a struggle for you IMO

Makes sense since they are MADE in China.

And it is the way the RM was released.

Now let's get to arguing turnbuckles and cab forward/rearward, we are DAYS behind the RM thread!

Those things are settled. The Orion R10 is the best, everyone needs 90C shorties, and deans only add extra weight!

Have the RM, going to be nice to compare MM. Can't wait for them.
