I'd rather be too light than too heavy. You can always add weight back if necessary and you have the flexibility to decide where to put it.

Adding the weight back in to make minimum is the whole point of reducing weight. Light weight is good, balanced weight is even better. Adding the weight back in to balance the buggy (cross weights, but especially for handling) is where reducing the weight of the true benefits of lightening the buggy comes from.

+1 absolutely agree. I can put the weight where it needs to be.

Been trying to sneak a peek at the car more thoroughly to see how this installs onto the car! LOL

I see what you mean but that would mean the ESC would mount under it? I wonder.

What I really don't like is how the new servo mounts attache to the chassis. The current way on the B4, the screws thread into the aluminum block. On the B5 the screws thread into the chassis which could be a disaster waiting to happen for some and I foresee a bunch of people going to larger screws in the future.

What I am LOVING is the channel going down the center for wiring. These types of little things show how much thought went into engineering this new car.

This part I don't understand. It's listed as a receiver mount but it seems pointless. I thought it was the ESC shelf listed in the option parts but is a different part number.

I'm not too keen on it either, but it does make for less screws on the underside.

I just wish it was down the side of the chassis, rather than straight down the center.

my esc and receiver wont fit down low. That xp esc is silly narrow. The reedy is probably about the size of the orion. I will need to mount my esc on the mount and the rb6 is the same with the receiver mount

you can probably drill the chassis like many of your did on the b4 to run wires down the sides. I dont like wires under the battery either.
