Man, I am gonna make a little battery warmer for my car to get the IR down while racing

That is actually against the rules for ROAR. To get around it, on road spec drivers will charge at 40+ amps just to heat up their lipos. Picture charging at 8c instead of at the 1c most folks charge at.

And yes, they shrink wrap their lipos to retain even more heat.

That is also against ROAR rules...must charge at 1c.

'8.3.2.5.3 Li-Poly battery maximum charge rate shall be 1C. C= charge amp rate. Charge amp rate = mAh capacity/1000=XAmps.'

Charging at 40amps doesn't heat a pack up, leaving it under a light bulb will

Actually they discharge it at a high amp rate and then immediately charge it back up at a high amp rate. This put the heat in the pack and decreases ir. You have to time it right though or you lose the benefit. And once again, its not legal....neither is using a lightbulb to heat it up.

I really like that new proline B5 body. I am pretty sure I will be ordering one for my B5M as soon as I get it.

Your right! Now that I think about it, I was talking to some usvta drivers, not ROAR vta.
