Get a 66t, I ran 31/66 last weekend. Started with a 32 but needed a lil more bottem end so I went down to a 31. R1 Wurks 17.5t & Tekin RS blinky

ok, cool. I will probably get a 66 and a 69 for tuning purposes. But I was unsure what would fit. how close to the tranny are you getting the motor with a 31/66? touching?

still was a good bit off pace of the b5m, and not just you too, our top 10s as fast as both fast lap in the main.

still before wednesday only one person has ran 16 laps and it was paul when there wasnt the moguls through the center, so for both b5m to run 16 was a strong showing.

so the flat arms/tower really help the car.

^^Just ordered the flat tower and arms from A-main. Looks like they have some parts trickling in.

So it seems that 3mm trailing axles were popular, but now it's the 4mm, whats the difference between the two?

Which would be better for low-medium bite?

Unless I missed the memo, 2mm has been working for most of us. I am not going back to 4mm that's for sure.

I had been running 3mm trailing with the flat arms.
We had a track change that is faster and less technical and went back to 4mm.
4mm is less aggressive and easier to drive in low to med traction.

I did change to the gull wing arms/shock tower and picked up more mid/exit steering without being overly aggressive.

Not sure on 66/31 but I run 69/34 and motor is about 2mm from touching trans.

So, I decided to give it a try. What a mistake! When I trimmed the body, the paint cracked and flaked all along my trim lines. I used Tamiya polycarbonate rattle cans. The body dried for just over 24 hours before I started trimming it. Did I do something wrong?
I always trim my bodies first before I paint them for this reason.
