ah ok. It is a new set of pucks. So i use the MIP grooved washer, then use the caged bearing and 1 of the Avid grooved thrust washers?

Is the groove in the mip thrust washer different for the smaller mip thrust balls?

Unsure. Everything is still in the packages. Good question though. After what Busdriver said, I recalled that someone had said the same thing as him a while back. I could not find the post. I know an MIP driver. I will contact him and see if he has any info.

btw.... when I buy a different car, i usually read every post in the thread. I haven't had the time to go through this entire thread yet and from what I've read, I haven't seen one that describes the reason for the different arms.

Where are you placing the shorty packs? Forward or rear? I only had my car on a track once so far and I tried the shorty towards the rear and it felt good but for me saddle-packs felt better but they are heavier for stock class

I have the MIP Shiny CVD's with the Pucks. I added the Avid ceramic caged thrust with no issues. Not sure about the bi-metal ones.

When running a square pack where do you plan to mount your esc and receiver?

Just built a b5m for son to run in stock,,in Aus i havnt seen the shorty run up the middle,,
I like it..are most of you guys just cutting battery support away and using foam back/front to keep in place ?

Question about the body. Is the rest motor and mid motor body the same size width wise? Just curious because I've been running rear motor and just converted my buggy to mid motor using the conversion. I have a custom painted body that I don't want to just hang on the wall. Can I just cut around the mid motor form and it still fit?
