The TRIAD EVO now has vented slipper plates and they removed the need for the centering washers. So less parts and rotating mass, plus better cooling on the AVID Evo Triad

The Avid Evo is the ticket, so glad I put one on my car. Mine works so good on my B5M, I'm going to put them on my Durango rides. Another good thing when I do that is all my spur gears will be interchangeable then.

thanks for pointing that out to me. I am looking at their pad tuning guide for the slipper and I'm not really getting what they are talking about with bias. What are they talking about ?

I'm not a Fan boy of any brand by any means as all but 2 of my 7 ESC's are all different brands. Hobbywing is a brand and they don't make everyone's ESC's. There is an OEM manufacturer that probably makes the parts and assembles many of them for the different companies along with the HW stuff. They also don't have all the same internals as I've had to open my Orion, HW and speed passion at some point or another and there are many differences. The quality of the parts I'm sure is the most common. This is the way the hobby is, everything looks similar from the cars, the electronics to the tires. The difference is everyone makes the changes they see are an advantage to make them different and their own. Buy what you want and run it, if you don't like it try something different. It's your choice, don't let someone else dictate or make you feel ignorant for choosing what they feel is an inferior product. Anyways that all I'm saying on this topic.

Haha, sounds like a wild cherry comment. Just believe what I say I have no proof. Follow me sheeple.....

No doubt it is made by another manufacturer who makes components for other brands. There are only a limited number of manufacturers. But spouting off that it is this brand or that and without providing proof is pointless imo.

TQ and the win tonight. Buggy felt pretty good but still feels like it's lacking on power steering. Lowered the front ball stud 1mm and running +1mm in the rear with the link one hole longer.

Isn't it backwards ? You've lowered the rear RC and lifted the front RC giving it more understeer ? I thought that to correct on power steering problem it was more of an antisquat issue (more antisquat = less weight transfer hence more weight stays on the front for more steering on power) .

Disregard the numbers. You have short, medium, and long. You will only use the medium (5mm) ones.

Can anyone explain the key difference between the servo horns provided with the b5m kit?

has anyone had any experience with certified 17.5 motors from trinity, are they really worth the extra cost or will the D4 be just fine.
