no the team drivers don't need permission to run a inline setup.... if it worked better we all would be using it.. but the inline setup just doesn't work as well on most tracks.. its been tried.. but if it works for you on your track great.. but if you learn to tune your car then you may find it works better with the shorty sideways or a lot of guys like it with the square battery. I think brent and cav are running that setup and like it. to each their own... me? I almost always run the shorty close to the back.. electrics centered and a green swaybar... and yes that is outdoors.. gobs of traction and steering. more and more guys are running the mid everywhere now with great success.

I like the MM, just need to figure out to make it easier to drive on the bumps and jumps. On the flat sections with the right tires it corners so much nicer than the RM car. I keep going back to my RM car when I have a bad run with the MM, so I am just going to sell the RM car to remove the temptation, lol. I still have the conversion kit for the RM if I really want to run RM, but it will make it slightly harder on club racing to swap.

Rick in a club race they can & do use , no big events as I understand.

We can debate which way is best for higher grip to no end.

Only way I can convence you would be to just hand you my transmitter.



There's is a noticeable & apparent improvement with the handling.

specially if you try the set improvements we just made

Yeah, so you are adding 2.7oz which is 76.5g. For an example, my new Orion shorty is 295 and the Reedy 4100 is only 211g, so 84g difference. Without the extra weight, my car would be slightly heavier. My point being it's important for people to know they may already be running that extra weight without adding the lead tape.

Yes, but using the Reedy wire under & though the guard.
Looks like you trimmed the battery brace the same.

We went back & forth with the cut guard or loose screws, ECT.

Decided car was more predicable with screws tight and no cut.

No Factory Team yet, maybe never. None of the other companies are producing FT kits, so they are probably following suit to keep kit prices down.

All the FT goodies are available to upgrade as you wish.
