Sideways I think

It would not fit front/to back. Only side to side.

Default There marketing strategy does seem weird

It is interesting to release these videos but the cars are not ready for the Reedy which is a race they sponsor. They missed the worlds, now the Reedy, They missed most of the cold indoor season, missed X mas. Don't get some of these companies. But heh I got some TLR 22-4 today. I had forgot that I even put them on back order.

Durango, hb, tlr, AE all missed the xmas release. I am sure they all tried. Bad marketing would be to run the b5 and not make the A due to limited time with the car

See, where the decision is REALLY hard is for someone in my situation My local track is Pegasus hobbies (where the RM video was shot). That track is 10 minutes from my house. But if I go 30-40 minutes to a track then I have three indoor clay tracks (IERC, OCRC, and LRH). It would be nice to say that I'll only be club racing and just stick with the B5 but I plan on getting into some JBRL action which means traveling to some of these higher grip facilities So, in the end, MM is my choice

I don't think that R. Cavalieri would miss the A-main on his home track if he was driving a Duratrax But I get what you are saying Honestly though, I don't think that the pro's really need all that time to get used to the car when I think about how many different cars they have driven and driven well! While set-ups vary depending on the buggy, you do have a solid platform to start with and it only takes a few track visits to dial in the car when you have their type of experience. That's all my opinion though and people are welcome to argue, but I just think of it like any other type of racing/sport/hobby. You might switch a team/car, but that doesn't stop you from being good at what you do.

It comes down to 10ths for these guys. So maybe they dont have the time to dial in those tenths. They also may not have the pasts support in. plus there is politics. But the ryans get one and we dont, crying ensues.

They easily could have had over a month with these cars. And as stated above, for these guys thats more than enough time to get the car dialed, especially if they started with a good neutral set up from the Centro and adjusted from there. It would have been easy for AE to set the rules, no pics, no talking or we will not use your facility again, and having your facility in the promo vids would be pretty cool advertisement.

Anyone remember the new Kyosho Lazer at worlds? No time to test/tune = setting yourself up for failure.

The fact is, I am sure AE would love to debut their new car at their own race. If they are not debuting it, then I am sure they have good reasons.

True that! I agree with you there! I'm just saying that I'm sure both ryan's would make the a-main but AE has its reasons, and one of them is to probably win outright on the car's debut, not just make it to the a-main

Mm that's some good info! I was hoping someone that has seen/held the buggy would chime in! That makes my decision a whole lot easier thanks!
