Yes, aluminum pinions are used by many as well.

Ok... Sounds good.

What brand of aluminum pinions do people like to run. Are some better than others.

I have used Losi metal pinions in the past but have never tried aluminum before.

I have a lot of the robinson racing pinions, the newer TLR aluminum pinions are really nice too.

Default finished the roller...

No issues whatsoever and no missing parts. Good luck maybe. $250.00? Buy two at that price.

Our local track is going to get a new layout soon, with the point being the traction isn't as high as it can be.

I witnessed Chad Due, break the track record after running his second pack through the car. Strange thing is, he didn't appear to be driving on edge at all. I suspect that there is a ton left in the car yet.

I'm thinking the car works.

Sorry if this has already been asked.. Does changing the rear hub inserts (0, .5, 1.0) change the rear toe or ??? I cannot find in the manual.. Seems reading that the biggest changes to adjust are front axle trailing location, and Ackerman... Hopefully do some testing tomarrow

Yes its a quick way to change the rear toe. If you use the .5 yor will add one degree of rear toe. 1/2 a dagree per side equals more traction.

Thumbs up

Ran my B5M Wednsday night at IERC and it works well right out of the box. Only made minor changes to ride hight and camber and it just got better. So far I love the car.

It also equals less traction on corner entry because it causes the tires to track toward each other when you're off power, which causes the rear end to push up and remove weight from the rear

Cheers, good to know. I'll pinch the spacers from my b4.1, save wasting rubber or acetone-ing them off

Silly question, but does the reedy motor fit inside the gear cover without modding? I would assume yes, because I am sure AE did their testing with the reedy, lol. but thought I would ask
