Remove inside legs off water fall.
Slide Esc under water fall, only a 1/4 of Esc fits under the water fall.
Battery in front of Esc.
Receiver on right side of battery.

Note:
Grinding the battery tray is for more flex in front of waterfall to achieve more traction.

Jmoney, test each and tell everyone your results. Prove your theory...

I already done, and posted the results however..LOL

I'm confused ! I don't have a waterfall in my B5m unless your referring to the tranny brace? If so why not just remove the brace instead of cutting it.

Here is my inline setup. I went with the battery all the way back. Also i didnt cut out the battery box. I want to be able to switch back and forth to normal setup and inline setup to see what i like best.

Yes that is what every one is referring to. I wouldn't recommend removing it as its considered the front mount for your tranny.

use post #4321

Only difference is I grinded the battery box off and my thumb screws are separated from the brace. This was done to help bring more flex to chassis in front of waterfall.

BTW

Hey Mark ! Good work & well done on your inline.

For Trcr

Remove the waterfall or brace and the rear flex becomes excessive and adds to much traction with a lost of stability.

The car's stall is made stronger and becomes quite noticeable .

Whole reason for the inline to reduce the stall all mid motors battle.

Very nice. Double sided tape for battery? What did your car weigh this way?

Thank you. No it still uses the battery strap. Just didn't have it on in the pic. As for weight not sure. Haven't weight with this set up.

look at the CG of the battery. You might as well have left it stock. Havent changed anything.

If the focus is to get the weight over the rear then the battery back makes sense. Considering he runs the shorty servo and is able to get the electronics relatively inline as far as weight goes, how is this even similar to stock?

Explain this to me like I am 5 because I am obviously not seeing your point.
