Don't know if this has been posted here, but it gives a couple good looks at the car that are hard to see in pics as well as a brief shot of the back of the car.

There is a part 91495 that is the Factory Team x-ring rebuild kit. I know the x-rings are an upgrade but in this rebuild kit the spacer and hat bushings are included. Are these these spacers and hat bushings any different than what comes with the kit or are they the same

I wonder how this will balance out weight wise with a 200g shorty vs the 300g square

What I am wondering is how much of a change in compound can help with gaining traction for MM versus what RM is seeing. So say an M3 compound works great for RM, but you need more traction, maybe M4 then for MM?

last time I ran a MM vehicle was a conversion back when the Academy GV2 was still being supported in the USA, a PSI Racing conversion that when we tuned the rear end for traction, it was very fast and planted. Watching a fellow racer with his SCT version of the conversion turn inside the RM designs consistently versus what he was able to do with RM on very loose conditions here really peaked my interest in seeing a MM design in the future from the likes of AE.

Anyway, right now toying with the idea of picking one up.
I can only speak for myself, but run almost exclusively mid-motor mod at an indoor track that can be anywhere from low to medium-high grip depending on prep and the time of year. With mid, I *sometimes* liked a tread that had just a bit more sidebite. In the late spring/summer I might switch from clay to SS compounds for the rear. By comparison, with RM I'd never switch to SS tires on our track. In even the slickest, lowest grip conditions on a track that has a rep for being loose, I would always run MM and be faster.

So, definitely mess around with tires. I'd guess that if your track is really high grip, you'll still settle on the same tires. I think some people give up on MM too soon before figuring the tire situation and setup out.

Same happened to me during practice, my hexes came in that deletes the screw

Hi,

In the C4.1 / C4.2 a 180mm / 200mm sensor lead is fine.

Thanks. out here we are talking loose black dirt. When watered traction does come up but it doesn't hold for long on one of the tracks before its back to being loose.

Very tight, small track, very fun too.

A larger one that does 1/8 on it commonly also can be very dry and loose as well. Fun stuff.

After traveling to AL and Waflets track, heck, that was like medium traction compared to out here when I played around on it

Anyone heard if the front plastic hingepin brace on the RM version at least is more durable than what was commonly upgraded on the B4?

One of the team drivers is at our local track and had the alu part installed.

He said it's an upgrade if you like the blue, but certainly not remotely necessary. Looking at the manual and the car in person, it looks much more stout than what was on the B4 for sure.

I agree though, that was one of the first parts I looked at.

we have locals that crash a decent amount and they are not breaking the plastic one. But we dont have high speed sections with steel poles or brick wall either. Just some white pvc pipe.

Appears to be same setup as the one on petit rc besides the added weight?
