Bummer, but parts break. The result of using a streamlined racing product.
If it was a hub that broke, would you be considering it warranty?

still waiting on my car but the majority of my spare parts have arrived including a few packages of front a arms. For those who haven't ordered any yet, the package includes a new front pin brace too, which i think is a nice bonus.

This happening in the first weekend of running the car seems like the chassis was defective to begin with. e.i. bubble in the plastic or the chassis didn't endure the proper cooling time/cycle.
Cold Weather + Cement Wall / Metal pole = Broken Chassis? Maybe?

I would think AE wouldn't cover it, since it would be hard prove that it is a manufacturing issue.

I've had my B4 accidentally stepped on by a marshal while warming up for the 2nd qualifier.

It was right after installing the then new +8.

Marshal crossed the straight away, stepping on my car by accident and the two halves went sliding down the straight.

Bolted on my standard chassis and was able to race the main.

Moral: I now approach a race day as everything being considered a consumable. And because of that, it's up to me to keep spares on hand.

Tough pill to swallow sometimes.

I think more parts broke than just the chassis.

Broke yesterday during practice. High speed jump into a pole. It was my fault i came off the jump wrong and tried to stay with it. Broke a chassis. Shock rod end and bent a turnbuckle, nothing else. This car is durable this was just a hard hard hit

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the approximate width of the car with tyres as I am thinking of getting a hauler bag shipped out with the buggy?

Thanks,
Alex
