This may sound crazy but can you compare the B5 and B4.2 clamping hexes?

Couldn't possibly be...those cost the same for 100 as thematic AE ones do for 4.

just got done building my kit, I'm going to be running in the stock class with a 17.5 reedy sonic and was wondering what a good starting point for gearing would be. I have the 72 tooth spur installed just not sure where to start with pinions? Thanks for the help

Manual suggests 31/69 for 17.5 blinky. So maybe 32-34 with a 72

I ran 34/72 with Tekin Gen 2 timing at 30 degrees. There's plenty of room for more gear or more timing depending on the track.

I ran 69/33 in my 4.2 and that is what I am running in the B5 on Wednesday.

Where at Tower are you finding B5 parts? I clicked on the parts listing and only a few items are showing up.
