That's damn good. Now if I could find one. Everyone seems to be out of stock.

There are some differences in the shocks, but they will physically fit onto your B5M.

I don't do Pm's so here is what I'd like to see (for each vehicle):
  • Screw/Bearing break down
  • BB spring guide
  • "Tips and Tricks" section (e.g. the use of a setscrew and nut on the front axles, which was posted earlier)
  • "Available Hop-ups" section
  • "Body Compatibility" section
  • "B4 parts cross-compatibility" section
  • Turnbuckle how-to (a video maybe?)

I'm sure another will mention something I missed. If you have enough time to put together videos, you have enough time to update the thread. A good example is littlevette's bmax thread. I understand you have a lot of information on facebook's rc10b5 group, it would be beneficial to cross post things here.

the lower shock eyelet is smaller on a b4. you will need to put b5 lower eyelets on.

Sorry no you won't. The ball is identical as are the threads and the length of the ball stud from the center of the eyelet to the end of the threaded part. The B5 eyelet looks like they beefed it up a bit but I never had a B4 eyelet break in 3 years and in 3 race days I had a B5 eyelet break. I replaced it with the B4 part as the LHS didn't have the B5 part in stock and it is working just fine.

Thanks......

already shot the turnbuckle video.....the rest is in the works. And please don't tell me what I have time for......this is a hobby and a hobby only...

As a side note many people are still waiting for the B5M....these cars are brand new......I'm looking to make a first post similar to the RB6 thread.....but keep in mind that car has been out for years........it'll take time to collect, organize and enter all the information.

P.S. Please

umm ok. i tried to use the blue b4 bottom balls and the hole is too small, hence why i said you need to use b5 parts. 3mm is bigger than 4-40.

maybe i just got 8 mismade b4/sc10 lower ft balls. good thing my b5 ones were made right.

You cant use old with new. You either need to use the new eyelets and balls or use the old eyelets and balls. Like you said the new eyelets wont work with the old balls.

i had no problem puting b4 balls in b5 eyelets. it was the b4 balls the 3mm b5screw would not go thru them.

Gotcha. Overall there is not an issue to use the older stuff if youre in a bind and cant get newer.
