I was with Bill at OCRC raceway and the new buggy is really sweet. There is only one buggy right now and the engineer was testing it. It was running the same lap times as the current fast Centro's ( Hartson, Theilke, Barry Baker, Drew Moller, Kevin Motter) . Lots of new features that were not mentioned yet. No pictures were allowed, but definitely made me go and pre order it last night.

You're right; that's good thinking. I should have just PM'd you.

Looking forward to getting back into the hobby here as soon as the B5 hits.

Thanks,
Jesse

Awesome! Glad to hear there will be more cool stuff to become discovered. I'll eventually run into you again Kevin; hope all is well. I'm sure I'll stop in for some Reedy Races.

Take care,
Jesse

If it's not on the release paper work I doubt it. There is only one of them at this time.

Yeah, I just hope the rear bulk head is nice and strong and not skimpy like the stock c4.2 rear bulk head.

Ahh yes I can vouch that the white unicorn was there too. All of us lucky club racers were able to see the B5M before it disappeared into the night with its cool engineer. The B5 is so sick and dialed. All the slop is gone

Can you guys comment on the rear bulkhead/shock tower area? Does it look stronger then the C4.2?

Yes, it real beefy. Looks like they took the centro stuff and improved a lot on it.

This car is the most excited I've been for a new RC in a looong time! I feel the same way about the engineering that went into this buggy as when AE first introduced the new B4! A new piece of engineering that will make other companies scramble to keep up.. Of course, the competition is a lot more fierce and there are a lot more competitors now so I don't think the B5 will go and win 4 Ifmar Worlds in a row like the B4 did but it has definitely raised the bar!

I heard no and there is just 1-2 in existence. And it looks like that one is being used by engineers to test with. I would expect them to be in full force by cactus.
