Need servo recommendations.

Hello all, I am need to replace my servo and need some help with a good replacement. I am looking for something in the mid-level range that will hold up, but not break the bank. Any suggestions?

Can't beat Savox 1258's for value. If you want to drop a bit more coin, Xpert 4k series servos come in around $80, cheaper with coupons or used. Good specs and mine have been bulletproof.

No one has replaced their bellcrank?

Not necessary. You replaced the one on your b4 to eliminate the servo saver, the b5 rack already does that for you.

I've run the stock steering on both my B5m and SC5m with zero breakage

(further away from the inside of the car and moving to the outside?

As far as tires I have Electrons and also proline primes. These both seem to be the tires of choice for everyone and I see a mixture of both.

I do need some help with the DX4C controller as well. The stock settings are set at 100% steering L/F. With this I dont get full travel of the wheels. If I set it to Max (150%) then I get full travel. Do any of you run at 150% travel or just stick with 100%? Also what does the Expo do for steering or throttle? I haven't changed any of those settings. Also I typically run the drag brake a little bit (setting on the controller) so that the car slows down a little when letting off the throttle. Would I be better off leaving that at neutral?
As someone said above.. which to Schumacher carpet tires, your problem is solved and watch your lap times drop

team orion vortex 1605

I wouldnt run a savox ever again, and certainly not a low profile servo in a buggy

the orion has been bullet proof, its fast, waterproof, strong and despite the best attempts of my lil girl..... its still working LOL

no idea what they cost in the USA, here they are 80GBP.

Has anyone tried to mount Kyosho rb6 shocks on their b5 or b5m? The stroke is about the same, I'm wondering about the top and bottom mount holes?

TIA

That's interesting because Savox is the OEM for Team Orion servos.
