On my way into the office. I'll give further details once I get there. I am lucky enough to be in OC and see a lot of pro drivers at OCRC regularly.

Default loose rear end

May sound kind of simple, but make sure you don't have to much drag brake. My b5m with box set-up has been really good from the first run.

If you race OCRC why not chat it up with hartson. maybe have him take your car for a spin to give you feedback.

Have you tried Kody's OCRC setup? You have the engineer for the car racing there, I would definitely tap into that knowledge.

Rigar,

Ask Walnuts or Hartson for set up help, OCRC should be pretty locked in but if it was on the new track layout it wont be as locked in as it normally is.

I ran my car for the first time this last weekend at JBRL and my car pushed like a dump truck because my tires where new and not broken in. I borrowed a set from a buddy that had broken in foam and the car was way better without any set up changes.

I ended up running white k springs all around with 32.5 in the front and 30 wt ae oil and 1.6 piston front and back. Ride height was 23.5 f and 23 r car was good and with a little more time I will be used to it.

So, anyone that drove this can on an outdoor track?

I'm still not sure what to buy, a B5 or a B5M..
Almost all the tracks in my country are astro or carpet. only my local track is hardpacked dirt (with a thin layer of dust in the summer) + there are some parts that are carpet/astro.

Any suggestions wich car would be the best?

.
+1. Would your buddy with the Serpent that you say is super dialed in be willing to let you do a few laps with his rear tires off his serpant? That would be a huge help to determine if your rear tires aren't up to par.

So where do the white K springs fall in the associated world?
The chart I've seen shows the measured rate no where near the claimed rate.

I've tried a couple different spring and oils combinations in the rear, and I can get it a little better, but not great. Any ideas? I'm at the point where I might need to move on from the car if I cannot get it better within another week or two. I've driven my friend's Serpent mid motor, and its feels the way I think my B5m should. It just drives easier, handles the corners way better, and it's just a nice kit with a few features the B5m doesn't have, for only $40 more. I'd like to get this B5m dialed like everyone else is claiming they have theirs. Kind of confused at this point. My buddy who is a mechanical engineer and quite good with tuning cars is a little stumped how to help at this point. Both of us agree the car just feels edgy to drive and my car hooks consistently on sharp corners. Starting to bum me out.
Can you post your setup? I'm running 1.7 rear pistons, green springs, 1mm rear camber ball stud washers, camber link on middle hole on hubs, top shocks mounted on inside hole, lower shocks mounted on outside hole, and .5 toe inserts in the rear hubs.

Granted this suits my driving and it does rotate faster than my rear motor ever does but I wouldn't say I have any issues hooking up. Another thing is I am running less drag brake than I do with my rm. 10% vs 20% on my rm.
