Anyone ever try xray ballcups & studs on the B5? They are the freest i've seen on a kit and think the threads are the same but know the studs are a different size.

Just items that I would considered standard.
Cleaning dirt off every run.
Checking the bearings to make sure they are not gritty or locked up.
Check to make sure everything is still tight, i.e. screws.
Shocks feel ok, no air bubbles or leaking and don't forget to clear the dirt off of the shock shafts.
Check to make sure the diff is working as expected.
Checking the plastic for excessive wear and tear, including the wing.

You cant pinch the cups while on the car...that helps slightly but not enough. Pop all the cups onto the studs, then unscrew the ball stud from its mount, now with the your pliers pinch the cup and with your fingers move the stud through a full range..all around the cup while pinching the cup as you move it around. It doesnt take alot of pressure on the pinch but you need to move the stud all around. Do this until the stud is free in the cup (you can feel it). I tried for a while doing it on the car until i did the above. For me it worked wonders...significantly more free right from the start.

Lunsford has ball studs and ball cups that are way more free and lighter than stock. I have been using them on my b5m for a month and a half without issue. I'll most likely be trying them on my t5m in a couple weeks as the cups that came with it are horrible.

The B5M lites are suppose to be in today, or tomorrow according to everyone I heard. So if they ship Friday, that means they will be getting to us Tuesday-Thursday.

So... I am getting ready to send in a bunch of bent/broken lunsfords for warranty replacement. My kid has Super Duty turnbuckles on her car. They are all straight. In order to use them, you need to bore out the stock cups, as the turnbuckles are thicker. Anyone else running the super duty? Using TLR cups or anything else?

Wish I had gone with the SD's myself. Id just drill some stock cups. Probably on my list of to-do.

I snapped a lunsford last weekend at srs. They will replace them, so no biggie. I am only bending/breaking the front camber links. I have not noticed any in the rear links. bending a steering link would be impressive.
