I raced the JBRL race out in IERC in the rookie class (first major race in 20yrs for me). I placed 3rd, my protek 3000mah pack was really starting to lack punch after the 5min mark of the 6min main. It's a well used pack and should prob just be used for practice now.

My car without added weight and battery comes in at 1342g which is nice, but I'd like to get it down near 1285g.

Here are the mods I have on my car to make this weight:
-Ti associated Turnbuckles
-Aluminum Screws throughout
-EVO Typo's front and back
-Aluminum Hex's on the rear
Is that without the battery or something?

There's a couple of us using it. I refuse to change it though. One of my favorite quotes ever.

on the o rings on shock.. just use a little associated clear silicone grease on them and they will be fine.. make sure they are in the slot too.

The weight with the battery is what should be reported. It's kinda hard to compare to others if were not comparing the same thing. Should be weighed race ready with battery and body

A great way to improve this sport is just open the buggy class for any motor & make Sc & ST 17.5 the new beginner class's..

BTW

Couple teammates are now using the shorty pack, mid performs much better with.

I just bought two shorty packs, so I am happy to hear that.

My B5m should be here today. Any other build/ set up tips the B5M crew wants to share?
