3 gear, titanium screws, and smaller electronics can make a huge difference in weight of your car. But also don't get lightweight happy there are several very heavy 1600+ gram cars out there killing it in stock class. Invest in tires and track time not all the Kool-Aid drinkers lightweight crap

There was a 3 month strike at the Ports of Los Angeles, so no product was unloaded and nothing delivered to AE. They just went back to work last week.

Looks functional to me. Don't worry too much about kids who feel the need to make negative comments. Do you have any problems with sharp edges wanting to dig into the track? If not and if it's nice and flat it's up to you whether you really care what it looks like.

I've done some speaker and subwoofer boxes with fiberglass and I'd be interested in knowing how you did the chassis. Since it has kickup I would assume you did the lay up with carbon fiber cloth and epoxy. Is that right?

Can't get too deep into it here in the B5M thread of course. Do you have any kind of build thread on how you did it?

X2. I am surprised by some of them Most of us wouldn't try to do what you are doing, it is pretty cool you are learning a craft as you go and probably learning a lot more about how your car handling changes.

I have seen some really ugly and sloppy install pics on RCTech, but nobody says anything. I am surprised some of you are picking on someone for trying to innovate. Unless you know this guy personally and it's an inside joke, it isn't cool. This isn't even one of those vaginacating of America thing where everyone gets a trophy, this is one of those things that feels like a new kid showing up to the track and getting treated like an idiot kind of things to me, it can really turn someone off to the hobby and the crowd.

He's got one on Oople. Threads like that don't do well here. Too much heckling.
