Yes. Reedy makes a flat cable specifically for the B5M.

Anyone else bought this set and have the same problem
i'd just call team associated or the retailer you bought it from...they'll probably send you the bearings or give you a partial refund of some sort. you should be able to use the old bearings until you can get new ones. just clean the old bearings up a little.

Default wheels

I've done some searching and I cant find it. Does the B5 by any chance use the same wheels as the Kyosho RB6? I want to switch over but the wheel/tire deal might be what stops me.

Thanks

The B5M is an awesome car. I'd hate to see something minor like tires keep you from switching. Would you be able to bake the tires off in an old oven...not the nice oven in your wife's kitchen. Would you be able to sacrifice the foams and dip the wheels/tires in acetone for an hour? These two methods work good for switching tires to different wheels.
DON'T PUT CLAY COMPOUND IN THE ACETONE!
The clay compounds will shrink to like 3/4 of the original size. Truck tires almost shrink down to buggy tire size.

Since you'd be switching brands there will be a lot of new for you. I've switched cars a few times and it works better for me personally, to just take the plunge and switch the tires to the new wheels or sell them off. Lots of people do that.

The B5 platform is pretty fun and rewarding to tune on. Just drink the kool-aid. Make the switch. LOL.

I'm pretty sure your rb6 wheels will fit just fine

I'll call it Amain Hobbies product promotion since they're the ones who gave it that label, not Reedy.

Im positive that AE/reedy promoted them on their website when they introduced the 2 specific lengths for the b5 and b5m.

While it isnt B5m "specific"....it was marketed by Reedy for the B5m.

Ok ok I give up. Reedy 175mm flat sensor wires are for the B5M.

What if I only need 165mm, will my car spontaneously combust if I don't run the 175mm? (note the sarcasm please)

I got my shapeways fan mount warterfall by xMox and I'm really happy with it. Just a heads up for anyone who gets a black one, if you Dremel it for any reason its painted black and not made from black material so have that magic marker ready.

Anyhow for the guys having trouble with front bearings the following might be worth a shot-

I was back on shapeways and noticed a guy has a design up there for front axle inserts. He doesn't say which location they mount but I'd bet you could contact and ask or request. Maybe these have a better fitment?
