Anyone using the 2.4" diameter wheel/tires nowadays?

Do they do any better than the 2.2" setups?

Depends on your conditions. I'm currently running 2.4's but there have been some times with the drier weather that 2.2's might have had an edge.

So I realized I might have had my setup off for a long time. A year ago when I got my B5 I messed around with setup to find what worked for me. Somehow i flip-flopped bumpsteer and ackerman shims. I had 2mm washer out on the spindle and zero washers on steering rack when I moved the trailing axle to 3mm trail. I switched them around tonight and gonna see what it's like for practice tomorrow.

Also going to add more limiters in the shocks...4 total in front and 3 total in rear.

Also found I was running zero washers on the rear inner link on the plastic bulkhead. Going to go back to 2mm there and hope for good results.

Sounds like you need to go back to the full kit setup, run the car, then make ONE change at a time. With laps before and after each change. Making changes away from the track is not going to get you anywhere.

His cars are late 80's McClaren Honda F1 inspired. Great tribute to dominant cars. The McClarens main sponsor was Marlboro.
