I need more steering with my B5 mid to exit on indoor clay. What kind of chances would you start with?

I just went on the pre-order list at Amain for a factory lite B5M...Now, I wonder just how long it will take.

I don't know if you can dial it out without adding weight, I added 0.5-0.75oz under the steering rack+servo horn and that helped immensely.

I just have such massive grip on the rear (17.5 motor) and so much weight back there, that I don't think I can tune it out without adding weight in the front

I too do not want to be anywhere near anybody charging at crazy high amps. too much risk of fire to gain a tenth of a second

Thinking of getting MIP pucks for Mod running. Pros/cons? Running a 7.5/8.5 for various tracks and getting pin wear faster than I'd like. Wondering if pucks are easy to maintain and last or are there issues?

Your tranfering to much weight to the rear of the car on power so you could try a little less front droop, so put some limiters in the front shocks (alway gives me the on power steering I need) start with 1mm and go from there.

As long as the slipper breaks loose before the diff, then the diff should last as long as the lube in it is good, which can be a long time. I don't work on my cars at home, ever.
David you are probably right. That sounds like the process I use. I usually go about 10 seconds per side and not sure how many times. Probably ten or so. Then tighten the screw a little, and repeat till it feels right to me. Learned to use new parts over the years so that adds up.

Idk. Tomorrow I will give a refresh a go. Been several months since the last rebuild.

Thanx guys.

Yep, that is the car. If you are looking for a FT RM car, that may never happen. Maybe, but I doubt it. RM is just not that popular anymore. Get the Lite car, convert to RM and sell of the light weight chassis. I am sure it will sell

Recently began using the MIP Pucks in Mod Buggy. So far they seem to have great wear and durability characteristics. It's simple to replace the plastic pucks vs getting outdrive wear, but I don't think they are a must have for modified racing.
