Don't buy Savox servos... and if you do, buy 2 because you will need a backup most likely.

Never had a Savox servo fail after many years of running them. I've been running the 1258 in my B5M. It fits fine and the specs are what you should be looking for. Don't go cheap with servos though.

"Don't go cheap with servos... buy a Savox" is a bit contradictory... lol

Wasn't necessarily suggesting that he get a Savox...just the specs. He knows his budget.

I have a Savox 1258 servo and it's great. A lot of people use them and are happy with them.

Which size and length turnbuckles do you use for the Front camber links that are titanium because. I've bent two of the stock steel ones not really hitting anything .

I've ran the Associated blue turnbuckles before on a T4.1 and liked them .

Default Front shock body (kashima) issue

Hi all,
I recently get a CE kit , never run it (first race this w-e)
straight out of the box, a front kashima shock body seems to be not correctly machined, as the piston doesn't moove freely in the last 1/3 of the body.
I switched the piston+shaft from the other shock but the trouble still there.

Is someone got the same problem ?
May I fix it ? (I doubt it)
Do I have to ask AE send me a new one ?

I've had high end Orion and Futaba servos go out on me. Last one was the Orion and it went out on the second race night. All of my Savox servos have been reliable.

Does anyone know if the servo spacer ring, the blue anodized ring, is really necessary? Does everyone run one on theirs? It's part 89009, but it seems difficult to source and other than Avid, no one else seems to offer a replacement.

Looks like that is the servo horn support ring? I asked a similar question before and was told it is needed to support the servo horn splines from stripping.

It is in Stock directly from associated
