I know he does. And at times he makes valid points, while being a dink. But you know what's even better? Being able to have the final call on how much of a dink he gets to be In the end, he ain't king dink

Matt M has a firm pulse on every post I make. There's no question of if I'll get banned, it's inevitable.

The question is, what is the time frame?

So......how about that B5m....

In serious talk, Titanium hinge pins have always been sketchy...they seem to bend easier than the steelies. I would just replace your bent steel ones and quit hitting things.

Bending a hinge pin in this car is certainly a feat. This is also something that should be checked after each day of racing. I remember ripping apart a B5 alloy arm mount, and the hinge pin not bending at all.

I am speaking more from the B4 days regarding the titanium hinge pins. Those bent a lot easier than the steel stockers

I don't see a need for them (Ti). Only AE hinge I bent was in a B44, and that's not a shocker.

I obliterated the beautiful gold Ti hinge pins in my XXcr KE. So much so, I kept the stock steel hinge pins in my XXX.

Wasn't the B4 already super light?

I would guess Ti would weigh less and that may be the key interest for some over the durability being less or more.

Weight vs. cost, easily decided by tracks enforcing a weight rule. (1499g min.)

Ti or steel, rear B5 hinge pins are FAT, if you bend one of those...Lord have mercy on your car with you behind the wheel

Hey, are people gluing in the rear hub inserts (0/0.5/1 deg), or just the front trailing inserts?

I had plenty of help bending the 2 fronts I bent by way of a shortcourse truck ramming my buggy into the outside wall at full song.

I don't glue my rears, and have zero slop there. I recommend gluing in your trailing inserts though...

Cool, thanks! Going to glue the front in now that I've decided the 4mm works for me.
