Interesting. Normally I'd say yeah right but the fact that they had to create the mold, surely they already know the final design.

Money ready and waiting.

It should be stronger then stock, because of the materiel that is used, which is nice to know that your HD axles are now even stronger!

Has anyone else noticed the original B5M is "discontinued" and that the B5MCE is only a limited release which would leave only the B5M Lite to be sold after the CE runs out. Do you think they will come out with the .1 version next or will it be a full on turf car instead?

Has anyone noticed? Everyone has noticed and it has been discussed several times in the last several pages.

There is no reason to get the normal version anymore. The lite offers such a good value and has upgrades that can be made to work on pretty much all surfaces. There was just no reason to continue the original kit.

Agree, I feel like lately guys just keep repeating themselves. I mean go back a Paige or 2 and it was probably mentioned before.

I may have missed it while looking for it, but did JConcepts release an S2 body for the standard car (not laydown)? I need to order up bodies to get painted and I all saw on AMain at the moment was the Finnisher and Silencer.

Yeah it's been mentioned. My guess is you'll see something in between a CE and Factory Lite. Basically a CE without the bling like the shocks. Who knows though

Yeah, if you go to the JConcepts web site, and click on "Bodies" you will see the S2 in both RC10B5M Body (#0293 which is the non-laydown one), and the S2 - RC10B5M Worlds Body (#0294 which is the laydown one).

I can't post links yet, since I haven't made enough posts.

More durable than stock steel driveshafts.

Cool thanks. I thought they did but like I said, I didn't see it on AMain yet. Guess it just didn't trickle down yet.

Couple of 3 gear lcg trans cases I've been working on....
Both have proper motor plates that adjust only forward and back.

I'm just waiting for this case from shapeways and the machined CF motor plates and I'll post more info later.

*edit*
And the waterfall without the fan mount...

How about one with the shocks mounting to the front of the arms...

This will take drilling the arms.

The waterfall mount location will use the existing stuff that is available on shapeways right now. So, if you already have those.....

Pinebox, I like your design but with the waterfall you have designed in the above pics I would rather see the fan mounted more on the front aposed to the top. Simply to possibly accommodate more body styles. Even with the existing waterfall/battery brace shapeways now offers, the fan is a very tight fit under the finnisher body any any other body is pretty much put of the question when a fan is mounted above the motor

Porter...
I know what you mean about the body selection.
However, the fan mount the way I have it is actually a few mm's lower at the highest point than the existing angled mounts.
If needed I'm sure I could come up with something else to fit under a different body... Namely the new S2.

Looks like I'll be waiting for this gearbox for my carpet B5M.
