Actually spektrum/savox issues just point out that the bec is weak or failing on your esc

This was the second change i made behind going to the b pill in the hubs. Can always add the .5 in the stock hubs. Now with the c/d alum set you have better control over the antisquat.

I see Thielke has been using it on all of his setup sheets, so I gave it a shot. I really like it!

Recently went to the outer hole on the front hub. Like butter.

What kind of servos are you guys running? I'm running a Savox 1251 low pro that I used in my MM 22 2.0. I used that to gain room on the chassis. The B5M has plenty of room, and I could use a Savox 1257 I have laying around. Their speeds @ 6.0v are .09 - .07, and torque 125 - 139.

A savox 1257 is plenty of servo for this car. Most people I race with that have the really fancy $150 servos, turn the speed or dual rate down so that its drive-able. There is a benefactor to having a nice servo and thats if you hit something or land a jump funny it wont shred the gears. I have had good luck with a few brands of servos Savox being one of them.

I have the MIP top shaft. It was a tight fit but after taking it off to inspect nothing was scratched, dented or binding, just super snug.

Cool. It is a nice piece for 17.5 racing. I think my brain likes it more then the performance upgrade, just knowing my slipper is not an issue or something I need to tinker with.

What is the best battery location all the way forward with ESC behind it or sideways forward or back. I am running stock 17.5 and looking for more front bite. I have a lot of push even with blue jc dirt webs. Does forward battery location help? Thanks Chris

I find battery forward, in line, esc behind is the best. Good forward bite, good stability in cornering, and it helps pitch nose down a bit after takeoff on a jump to land the backside, especially in 17.5 when the motor and gyroscopic effect isn't as great.

This situation could be tricky, I would run the battery back and look at changing rear hub location and front shock package to gain the steering at first. Moving the weight forward will cause you to lose some forward bite but you will gain some steering. What front arms and tower are you using?

I would like to hear more about moving the front camber link to the outside on the hub and what effects it will have?
