Car feels very slow. Compared to other mod cars on track it looks like I'm running a 17.5. Is can timing and esc timing required to get any speed out of this system or is there another problem? If I start adding esc timing (35 starts to wake it up) it feels like a mod car. Again new to smaller scale so not familiar with timing as in 1/8 I rarely use it. Any help is appreciated.
Don't worry about ESC timing.. just start moving the timing up on the can. Take your allen with you on the track.. do a couple laps at 10 degrees... then a couple at 20, then a couple at 30. You will find the sweet spot somewhere in there. As long as it has the feel you want and comes off the track inside the temp limit.. you're golden.

Chris, I have a slight feeling you're speaking on the 17.5, and they're talking about mod motors.

Mine was horrible too. I ended up having to remove material with a drill bit , to the side that mates with the transmission for it to fit. I ordered 2 and both hat fitment issues.

Try Speedy's next time. His eliminators fit great.

For those folks looking for more corner speed, I would suggest trying 2.5deg of rear toe.

I see Thielke has been using it on all of his setup sheets, so I gave it a shot. I really like it!

How does the throttle stick with a speed control?

Would switching to 2.5 degree rear toe help the car turn tighter? Or faster? My track has five 180s outdoor clay medium grip and the straghtaways are short.

Looking for some more front end traction while turning. Medium traction compact topsoil. Any suggestions? Running the out of the box setup right now but would like a direction to go. Plenty of rear traction just seems to be pushing. Thanks

Set your endpoints or if your using spektrum and savox you need to buy a glitch buster. Your rx is loosing power to the servo.
