One of the things that made my decision is the venting on the reedy looks superior to trinity. One day I will try the trinity 1s and compare the two. Maybe someone else here has tried the two already.

That may just make me switch to that motor. That looks like a killer motor!

It certainly does. My car was perfect everywhere except the high speed sweeper. It pushed horribly. Front wing fixed that and helped me keep the nose down in air. I do however, think the wide wing is overkill on clay

Being concerned about looks on a racecar is stupid.

Tell that to the guys paying good money getting their cars custom painted who then, in my opinion and my opinion alone put a front wing on a 10th scale buggy making it look like a dirty oval car.

Depending on what arms and tower you are using, here are the Jconcepts front wings they just came out with. JC is the only company i'm aware who makes a wing to fit on the b5 cars.

I could be wrong but Cav's was homemade/custom made.

I just ran the SS version of the M3 today. I ran the Mach 2 on Tuesday at the same track. I started with 50deg timing and going down two teeth to 69/31. I didn't like th feel. I went back to the 69/33 (didn't have a 32) and started at 20deg timing. Then to 30, then to 35, then to 40.

Pretty much barely even warming the motor - 120 degree range.

Until I got back to the Mach 2 settings of 40deg and 69/33, I didn't know whether the motor was worth it. It is at least the equal of the Mach 2, but does appear to be a little cooler. I'll go up to 69/34 to test next time I have a chance.

Hopefully, more people will have experience soon.

Does associated sell blue aluminum 3mm shims? Im second guessing myself because I figure Id just use those on the back with aluminum ball stud mount set at -2mm. Now Im not sure if it is 3mm... I measured with my calipers coulda sworn it said 3mm
