I's been covered
I would love to get one but have to wait till the end of the month.
My track only got 3 when he ordered 5. Of course 3 were already paid for!

About a week before release there was rumor the 1st batch might be postponed due to the error. Glad they didn't wait. Running mine tomorrow!

For those going to cactus and need a car. I may have one for sale. I will know more tomorrow by 5pm est. If I do have the kit like the shop has said. My voicemail just said b5....so I'm assuming its my mid car since I didn't order a rear. It will be for sale only to those with proof they are going to cactus to race. I will post here if I do indeed have the kit and I will accept pms from that time. Just trying to help some people out. Plain and simple. Not like some others who have 3 and like to gloat.

I finally got bit by the AE quality check (or lack there of). My mid motor kit was missing one of the 91400 caster blocks. Every time anyone said they were missing parts from their kit, I always assumed that they just lost the part and it was really not an AE issue. Now I know. Oh well, I am sure when I call in the morning they will take care of it for me but no racing it this week.

Yeah, when this many people complain here and on face book, I assume AE is at fault. ".2" releases. Missing parts, terrible ball cups and so on. On the plus side, this kit "seems" well made, just missing stuff.

Why do people recommend a certain build(mm vs rm) for others. From my experience, I loved MM, until I got my B5r. It is a great car and when set up correctly, it rails 180's, sweepers, basically all the different styles of turning I have thrown at this car in 3 weeks. My bud bought a MM and my RM is hanging right there with him. I think for Stock class, it's a wash. Pick off drivers style, not preference of the masses. Mod might be better off with mm, however my other bud likes his B5r better than his Centro

here is my opinion, take it or leave it.

there is no more "my mid car is better than my rear car because traction is up" or vice versa. it simply boils down to driver preferance. some may disagree saying a mid car has never worked at their track. usually this is due to trying to setup a mid car like a traditional layout. some things are just done differently. that said, there are those tracks at the ends of each spectrum (super slick or loose, then ....carpet) where a certain configuration is just proven better. maybe the car choice youve made doesnt actually work, or more likely it is just far more difficult to tune that configuration to fit the track conditions so it is more efficient to go to the car with the wider 'fudge zone' (can be either style, again depends on conditions)

assuming youre on a typical undoor track with decent traction, here is how I think of it. if you like how 4wd feels better than the traditional rear motor 2wds, choose a mid motor. it feels pretty similar. otherwise go rear.

again just an opinion. and sorry if there are spelling mistakes, phones are terribl to type on late at night.

So has anyone tried taking the side pod screws to get more chassis flex for some of those that might need the flex? Sorry if this been answered before.
