The rear motor arms are run reversed so it gives you more bone sweep. More rear grip.

I plani to do more testing indoors on medium bite since i have 2 b5. Run them both back to back with the same tires. One with shorter links and one with longer and +2 inserts. The car was also using the 30 deg kick
the inserts are +4 the way they are facing.

Can you please explain this to me? I am totally out of the loop on running the rear motor arms on the mid in the first place. More so, are people really running them reversed?

Yes you have to reverse or flip them so you can mount the shocks to them. On the rm the shocks mount to the front of the arms. They look identical to the eye but the geometry is different and doing this locks the rear end down better.

It pushes the rear wheels forward a mm or two, possibly more, this creates more rear grip

I hope people in this hobby can figure out what is upside down when installing the rm arms.

Happy BDay Vito! Save yourself some time and dremel out everything from previous posts and install rm front and rear Arms, front shock tower , locktite rear hub ball studs and front axel screw right away. Enjoy the build, one of my favorites to date.

Using b5r rear arms flipped DONT move the arms 1 to 2mm forward. Its .75mm forward to be exact.
