And since I last raced 10th scale all of my track layouts have changed. So my old b5m lap times are meaningless to my new lap times with the xb2......lol

Instead of whipping on you, I got my butt whipped badly Sunday! Should have mounted up those tires you had and joined us. It was a good time.

Associated tested the Redworkshop B5M low rider conversion a year ago

I pretty much run the same lap times with my B5Ms and my XB2. I race both but my preference is still for old faithful. I just can't stay consistent with the XB2. When I start to struggle I always grab a B5M. Just seems like once you get the car to work it doesn't require a lot of set up changes at all from track to track. I like them both but there are things about the XB2 that I'm not cool with and most of those things don't involve the actual car itself. When I go to the 2 or 3 big races that I plan to attend this year I will be using an Associated.

Yes. Switching brands rarely makes anyone faster unless they had a tyco before. Lol. When I ran rear motor, the rb6 made me a lot fast than my 22 or b4. That was the only time a car made me faster. The limitation is not the xar.....the limitation is the driver. When mailed went to tlr did he become magically faster...no.

At that price, I'm seriously considering the B5 for outdoor this year.

Yeah, they said it was a pricing mistake. I'm not sure about Amain, but Tower has a $30 off $199 code that expires at the end of the month.
