Would a 4 gear transmission work better than 3 gear in a mid traction dusty track? B5m lite

I would lean towards yes. It puts a little more weight over the rear and and motor rotation helps. I would definitely give it a shot and its easy enough to change that it definitely can't hurt to try.

It could... Takes some of the snap out of the acceleration and gives you a little kinetic weight transfer on and off power.

Just finished my daughters CE build. Everything about it was awesome. Easy and straight forward. Got it all done and was going to get it set up for this weekend and...... I don't have any front wheels that fit this thing!!!

And yes... that is pink wire!

I have the same question. Also looking at a modern gen 2wd buggys and see a lot of them are built for high grip. Here in South Africa in my region we still need to build a track but we will only have a dry, med to low grip more than likely. We want to create an indoor track as well out of carpet for promotional purposes but I doubt one can can be adapted to all situations?

Default Stock Racing upgrades

I've loved how competitive my Lite is for stock racing out of the box so I haven't felt the need to spend too much (to date nothing other than AE xrings) on upgrades. Now with plenty of time with the car I'm thinking of doing some simple upgrades. Specifically, wanted opinions about Schelle Racing Ceramic Gearbox Bearings and MIP Bi-metal pucks. For those that have upgraded upgraded to these have you felt that it's worth the money? Racing indoor over the winter but outside for summer. Any worries with Ceramic stuff and outside dust? Anything more important that I should consider? Thx!

my car has the Avid Aura ceramics in the trans and the cut gears and just those two items alone woke this thing up. I just added the Schelle slipper lock out and I ordered Pucks. Figured I'm all in now, might as well blow the whole wad

I'm also running my 17.5 car in mod so I'm looking for every advantage at this point. Mod guys are in the mid 19's for fast laps and I just cracked 20.4 so I'm close.

That is what I said as I went through my box. So I happily placed a 10.00 dollar order
