If the buggy you just bought was white, blue, and orange, then he's the one who showed me the benefit on the steeper nose down landings.

I really like the Protek 100C with the 5mm plugs.

Promatchracing.com make some of the best batteries, plus they are very reasonably priced. This is what I got for my stock buggy.

SMC has a 100C pack that is on presale for $39.95.

Agreed on the SMC batteries. I have had great results from my SMC's. Price cannot be beat either.

I have a question about the Fox Kashima coated shocks. I have a Factory Lite and was wondering if the Fox shocks are worth upgrading to for performance, (they look great), or would I even notice much of a difference from my Lite shocks?

They look cool...and they feel great in your hands when mated with the machined pistons....but as far as on track performance you wont be able to tell the difference.

Was leaning toward SMC but don't know when the 100c pack will be available. Would the 60c pack be alright for stock.

Oh yeah. That would be good. I jumped on the pre-order and will report my results once I get it in. If they're as good as the others, its a steal for that price!

the shock bodies I would say no. The new V2 shock shafts and pistons yes though. The chrome ones feel smoother than gold but both are nice. I have used the new bodies and shafts.

Like BRS said, you will notice a greater difference with the newer shock shafts, in chrome. That and the x-rings are great upgrades.
