Interested in this as well. I was considering trying them. trying to get a little more steering on low-mid traction packed dirt. Running stock FL setup now.

It is $10 in parts. It is worth it to try them and decide for yourself.

Its not a problem, its an upgrade. By eliminating the front hinge pin brace, you can land more nose down and not scrape.

It was actually done to eliminate the front from dragging on the upside of jumps which scrubs speed.

Man, I wish the CE version included the lighter chasis. I wonder why they didn't? I'm building the CE right now which is probably a huge upgrade from my old B4.2 but I run in stock so that lighter chasis would have been nice, especially for the larger price tag.

I suppose improvement would have been a better word.

That makes sense too. But wouldn't you want to scrub speed on the upside so you can carry more speed up to the jump?

Sure..sometimes. Sometimes not. And only the WAY you want. You don't want to scrub speed by dragging your chassis up the face of the jump, you want to do it in as controlled of a matter as possible... with your brake trigger.

What are you guys doing if your battery pack is to tall and the brace won't work with out bending it? I heard guys are taping the packs in. How are they taping them?

Funny you mention this. I just bought a used buggy from someone you might know and the front hinge pin brace was eliminated. I haven't run it yet but I would assume it can only be a good thing, unless the little bit of weight up front was necessary.

I prefer to run hinge pins, the arms are too floppy without them

You can shim your waterfall up.

Everything fit very well. Chassis is drilled for the waterfall, so its a good tight install.
I do have 1 or 2 things to tweek on the for between the waterfall and battery strap. Its a little snug. But easily fixed.
Ran my new 3gear lcg last night.
The car felt very planted and flat. Jumped and turned very well. I'm very happy with it and can't wait to run it again.

The track was a new layout. So I can't compare lap times. But it felt faster and I was able to carry more speed than most everyone thru several parts of the track.
