Good afternoon everyone, I wonder if the asso b5m lite works better than b5m circuits with low grip because here in Spain we have many circuits with these characteristics, thanks and sorry for the translation.

I don't have this battery setup. If I were to try this and had this issue my first thought over tape is Velcro.... If you have to swap batteries taping it would become a pain.

If you already have a b5m with some upgrades, I wouldn't worry about switching over. But if you're looking at which one to get, the lite is well, lighter. So it should perform better for you.

Just do like Matt said and clean both surfaces and warm up the tape and surfaces with a hair dryer. once you get the pack in, it is nice to put foam on top of the pack and put the strap in. leave it over night like this. it puts pressure down on the packs and tape to help if bond better.

lastly, to assist in the pack not working its way loose, I mount something in front of the pack. I use the cap mounted to the chassis right in front of the packs. That seems to really help. I ran my car like this for months without having to replace the tape.
I was sure to clean chassis with motor spray but the only problem is I used the 10lbs tape because it's the only stuff I have but I didn't put the reedy battery In because out of box it was puffed and I have two and my first one the case cracked fro. It puffing after one race day. I guess I got a bad batch😢

new from avid. black satellite wheels. I love these wheels. Light weight and they hold up really well.

meh, who races with 2-3 batteries anymore. It only sucks when you bump and have 5 minutes to charge. what is where 40 amps comes in handy

velcro is thick and will raise your CG. and velcro could cause the battery to "sway".

Studies have shown that racing with one battery all day everyday kills the pack faster than high amp charging...and please, I am NOT here to get involved in ANY battery debates at ALL. I am just passing along info.

I've never really liked Reedy lipos.....and yes I've tried them, I have a couple. I do, however, highly recommend the Trackpower 3250 90C for stock racing. It does just fine for our 7 minute mains.

I have heard that using the same pack over and over kills it faster. But I track the IR on my packs, and they maintain their numbers for a good about of time... not years... But I believe it was said is that running it over and over back to back was bad. But having 1-2 hours between rounds should be plenty of time to rest. now if you practice for 20 minutes, then 40 amp charge, then immediately run another 20 minutes and keep repeating that, I can see it being more of an issue. Also, it depends on the class. Stock buggy does not build up much battery heat. in an ebuggy, sc 4x4 or even a 4wd buggy with a hot motor, I can see that being much more of an issue.

I am not trying to be mean, but that is an epic response. It almost resembles something google talk would write, lol.

Interesting. Do you have any links or sources for the studies you could share?

It is Ernie's disclaimer so he does not have to warranty any lipo. Its a suggestion.
