Pucks kits have 7 smaller thrust balls and 1 washer is grooved (see MIP instructions , upper right). Stock diff balls thrust kits have 6 balls that are slightly larger. the question would be what does the wear on the grooved washer look like since one would assume that the grove matches the smaller MIP balls and not the larger stock balls.

The B5m Lite and the T5 (and virtually everything else) is being delayed by the dock workers strike on the west coast. They're just sitting there waiting to be unloaded.

That is a bummer, but just they way it is working out...The wait continues.

USA Today reporting last night the deal was reached, so they could be starting to work on things starting tonight it says.

Feel bad for business involved with stuff that is rotting like produce or other time sensitive items.

I heard the dock fork lift drivers make like 120k a year. I don't know if true but glad they got it figured out. Dock contract is good for 4 years so ship that shit so we can get a wrenchin'.

You can run an optional thrust bearing in your diff. I have run the Avid and now run the Casper RC thrust and its great, lasts a long time and really smooth.

I don't think ill ever run anything but this type ever again. So much easier to work with and seem to stay more consistent as well.

Over the last few pages, thanks guys on the 2.4 rim diameter discussions, I appreciate it. Since the B5M Factory Lite has no rims and tires in the kit, I was looking at a lot of wheels 2.4 size in the for sale forum but will stick with the 2.2 rims and tires for now.
