I will be honest though...I FINALLY put just my electronics inline, with the 3 gear install too. And it just does not feel like "my" car yet A lot of steering of course going into and coming off the corners. Keeps you on your toes, that's for sure. Maybe my tires were/are a little suspect right now...

If so I guarantee you it is the 3 gear and not the inline electronics (while they may have added a lil steering but it is mostly the 3 gear). Because I noticed the exact same thing when I ran my 3 gear it has a lot more on power steering and that is bc when you are on power with the 3 gear it pitches the car towards the front versus the 4 gear pitching the car to the rear on power (thus added traction). Once you get used to it it is awesome the car, at least in stock, is just all round better and easier to drive I think.

I wanted to try the batt all the way back...but the tongue of the Schelle batt hold down might have to be shaved a little...or the slot it goes into. It did not want to go into the slot of the waterfall brace. Maybe I will open up the slot in the brace a little bit.

Took the slipper eliminator off (from the 3 gear) and it was better. Just didn't have time that day to shake it down.
Here is my buggy with 3-Gear from Reedy Race. I did dremel my Schelle battery strap a bit on the tongue to remove some of the drag from running cells back. Car was really good, the main things I have changed with 3-Gear are to run the battery back, 30 kick/0 caster, and then raise the inner rear pivot +1mm OR lower the hub ballstud -1mm. Some guys didn't change anything but for me the car just didn't feel right without a few changes. Hope this helps.
Did anyone try a wheelbase change instead?
