Wow very quick replies thank you !
The piston and oil are stock setup. I've just put red spring front (don't have stiffer rear spring appart yellow which maybe too much). And I've put 5k oil in the diff also I just added the 45g 25° brass weight at the front (everybody seems to use it on carpet).
I'll see how that will work

Thank you again

What spacers are your referring to? Just curious

I've seen some of the cut gears where they decrease the overall width. I am not saying this is a better or worse method as far as durability simply that some require spacers. I believe the RC Shox gears require spacing and maybe CB?

Idler centers regardless of width.

So, moved the esc behind the battery and shortened some wires. Buggy tips on at 1531 grams. Still have more to remove, like screws, Turnbuckles, slipper, etc. Why is minimum weight 1499? I don't get it. Why not call it even 1500?

Longer camber links will increase chassis roll.

What class do you run? Most people prefer the car around 1540 gr. If you get the car too lite it seems like it gets too twitchy and hard to drive. In mod from time to time we will throw a square pack in it to calm it down a little bit. with as fast as stock motors are these days im sure that too lite of a car will have an adverse effect.

Silly question. When figuring the weight of the car, is it with or without tires on?

With my 13.5 I run a 31/69 gearing. For 17.5 i'd run a 33/69

69/32 here only because no 33's on the wall. Everyone is running a 33 here.

And I'm running stock, since it's our biggest class. I just don't get the weight reasoning lol.

What weight savings can I expect with a slipper eliminator? Ti Turnbuckles? Aluminum screws?

Also, I did the flat front arm and tower conversion, what is this rear conversion for? What does it do, exactly?

Does anyone know if the actual overall size of the gears in the transmission are the same as the older generation models? I'm ordering a set of cut gears for my b5m and I'm wanting to lighten up my sc10 as well. Can I put all the b5m (minus an idle gear of course) transmission gears in my sc10 case? Or is it possible to swap out the entire transmission case with my b5 rear motor case?

I would hold off on cut gears, the 3 gear transmission is right around the corner.

Here is a video of a friend of mine running his B5M on our local medium bite track. This layout is a MM car dream.
