I am not really digging any of those. alum axles were tried and last I saw they are breaking. alum outdrives? the pucks can do it because plastic at the contact points. a steel pin will destroy those alum diff halves.

The big question (heh.. at least to me), is did they fix the bumpsteer issue with those steering blocks while they are at it, or did they match AE's geometry?

Can you use the offset bushings to account for the bumpsteer?

There is a small amount of uncorrectable bumpsteer-out in the B5m (without modification). Which is why Cav runs -1mm on the steering block ball stud.

I noticed that on his setups, how is that achieved? Removing some material with a dremel? Or am I just confused?

Proline 2.4 Tires

Hi Everyone,

Wondering if anyone is running the Proline 2.4" tires on their buggy. I am looking to pick some tires for offroad tracks and wondering if size really does matter (yes this is a loaded question).

Dremel away 1mm of material there the turnbuckle mounts on the knuckle

Thats what I thought. Kinda hard to dremel off 1mm of material precisely, I may give it a try though. Getting a little bit of bump steer now that our track is getting a little rougher.

I removed the 1mm nub off the bell cranks between the rack and bell crank. Basically moving the rack up 1mm. Seem to do the same thing just do not over tighten the screws. I run on carpet off-road with non moving track dividers. Cutting more off the steering block seemed like it would create a break point for me.

@joeld2llio - Thanks for the reply. I am wanting the Suburb Super Softs, but they are out of stock in the rear 2.2 size but available in the 2.4 size. The opposite for the fronts (available in the 2.2 not in the 2.4).

I was looking at the electrons for the fronts in combination with the subrub rear.
