Nothing better still.

The setup has been improved a week ago.

1/24 lead sheet under short battery (2.7 oz)
Rear shock inside on tower
Rear shock = 35w 1.6 x 2 flat piston 2mm internal limiter, white Ae or gold k spring

Front = 35w 1.4 x 3 flat piston, 3 internal limiter,grey Ae or red k spring

Hard front arm
Plastic B5r rear arm
George, what battery is that with? If someone is running a lighter one they will need more lead and a heavier one, less lead. Thanks for sharing!

No rules or tech....
Don't think they have tested it yet
Team drivers need permission to use the inline battery setup.

Ae wish's their drivers to use the car as Ae designed it .

GTI
A Spec weights almost the same as a Reedy , just a couple grams difference.

Kevin
Mike Brown made a inline battery Centro months earlier.

Everyone thought no way , just like now..

I would probably agree that the AE Factory drivers probably cant hack up the car too much. I wound not want my drivers chopping up my newly released car either.

no the team drivers don't need permission to run a inline setup.... if it worked better we all would be using it.. but the inline setup just doesn't work as well on most tracks.. its been tried.. but if it works for you on your track great.. but if you learn to tune your car then you may find it works better with the shorty sideways or a lot of guys like it with the square battery. I think brent and cav are running that setup and like it. to each their own... me? I almost always run the shorty close to the back.. electrics centered and a green swaybar... and yes that is outdoors.. gobs of traction and steering. more and more guys are running the mid everywhere now with great success.

I like the MM, just need to figure out to make it easier to drive on the bumps and jumps. On the flat sections with the right tires it corners so much nicer than the RM car. I keep going back to my RM car when I have a bad run with the MM, so I am just going to sell the RM car to remove the temptation, lol. I still have the conversion kit for the RM if I really want to run RM, but it will make it slightly harder on club racing to swap.

Rick in a club race they can & do use , no big events as I understand.

We can debate which way is best for higher grip to no end.

Only way I can convence you would be to just hand you my transmitter.

There's is a noticeable & apparent improvement with the handling.

specially if you try the set improvements we just made

Yeah, so you are adding 2.7oz which is 76.5g. For an example, my new Orion shorty is 295 and the Reedy 4100 is only 211g, so 84g difference. Without the extra weight, my car would be slightly heavier. My point being it's important for people to know they may already be running that extra weight without adding the lead tape.

Understand the whole point for using that location is working more then just adding more.

I don't see the point of knocking it. I think its great that people are always coming up with new tuning options. I race at w3 with humpty all the time and he is a great driver and understands how these cars work better thank most. Also from my understanding humpty and kinwald came up with the idea so if you know more then those 2 experienced drivers then hats off to you
