Well I'm not quite sure how to ask this from what I'm reading your trying to cut weight off and I was wondering about buying all these aluminum parts to make it harder to break it will make it heavier but will it take away how the B5m handles on the track? Is it pretty rigid just stock out of the box?

These cars are extremely durable out of the box! Extremely! The only alum parts to run might be the rear arm mounts just to gain more adjustability and the rear camber mount which the plastic one has been somewhat weak for some, the alum version offers more tunability.

Anything can break on any car when you hit ridiculous stuff like poles or concrete blocks etc. there hasn't been any real issues with the new cars aside from rare random occurrences.

Currently using 3-1 rear arm mounts. What would I gain or lose going to the 3-2 on the B5m? Would 2 anti-squat provide more traction or less? Medium bite track that gets real dry by mains.

I haven't tried it with the B5m but generally more anti squat makes the car more sketchy getting on the throttle initially. It'll also give more on power steering and will transfer weight forward faster.

More anti squat is less side traction and more rear lift on jumps.

Less anti squat more side traction and more rear traction on slippery or lower grip tracks

For the M you need:

91385
91389
91522
91524
To do the whole rear arm mount swap.

For easy reference go to RC10.com and click on cars&trucks, click b5m, click parts and accessories. That's everything for the M.

suggest the alloy rear arm mounts & rear hub , both offer a huge improvement in strenght. However the alloy rear camber mount bends.Use the plastic version when using alloy rear hub for some give & flex.

Hadn't heard that - so you guys are using the "soft" inner camber mount now?

You can find some using the alloy mount & hubs

Still recommend using plastic because with alloy on both sides there is no flex so the next part to fail will be the camber stud on the hub or the chassis mount itself bends.

So should I or not get the alloy camber mount?

Cameron

Can't even give you a good reason to use it , if it was stronger and did not bend ?

Then it would be usable..
